This course may be used to satisfy the ES 225 requirement.

Course Description:   This seminar explores global climate change and its causes.  Earth's climate is a highly complex system that determines our lives and all our activities.  In recent years, much progress has been made in understanding the behavior of the global climate system and the mechanisms that govern it.  Students will study global warming, its man-made and natural causes, and its impact on all aspects of life. Students will be introduced to ethical theories and their application to environmental issues.
